Ok - Cambridge Interview and Written Test over , so now it's time to concentrate on Accounting !!! Damn...
So anyway , I had a really really great weekend . I went shopping both Saturday and Sunday . Wouldn't it be nice if I could do it everyday ? Well , that sounds like the bimbo speaking . Shopping with my mom on Sunday was fun , cos naturally , its nicer when you have your bank right next to you . Your liquidity position really improves .
I bought like loads of clothes !! A gorgeous brown knee length skirt , green tank tops , and loads of baby tees ! Also 2 pairs of shoes ! Awesome ! I need a new shoe cupboard now . And thank god Petronas has finally banked in the accrued scholar money .
I saw this really nice pink skirt in MNG which costs RM315 , and a really really gorgeous vintage looking brown suede skirt in Esprit . It costs RM399 . I dunno which one to get , or worse , I don't even know if I should get them in the first place ! Opinions , anybody ?
And yes , after this Friday's Accounting paper , I'm gonna continue on my shopping spree . Everyone who knows me will know that my 3 or 4 figure bank account balance won't last for more than a week . I can't help it !!! Shopping is such an addictive drug !
Ok...for those who've been waiting .
I've been suffering from back pains lately . Really bad . So matron brought me to see an orthopaedic at the Seremban Specialist Hospital . When I did the x-ray , my bones were in perfect condition . Nothing's wrong with it at all . So he suggested I come for an MRI scan the following week .
Then he prescribed me some painkillers to ease the pain . Obviously . They're apparently called Tramadol and Arcoxia . It was Wednesday . My Cambridge interview was right next day .
So that night , I took both pills . The pain did go after sometime . But on Thursday morning , when I woke up for sahur , I didn't feel giddy at all . In fact , my head felt so heavy that I could faint because of the throbbing pain !! And what did the doctor tell me ? "You'll feel a little bit giddy , but it'll wear of very fast" . Oh really ?
So I had to knock on my matron's door at 5 in the morning for something to help me with the giddiness . So I ate the pill , and couldn't fast , obviously . And then , The Vomitting Marathon begins . I was puking my guts out . There was no way to control it , it just came out . But after that , I would feel better cause the giddiness goes off , but , only for a while .
Before we left for the interview , yeah , it just had to come out . I vomitted right in front of the staff's common room . What an embarassment !!! Then , once again right before the interview . Then another after the interview . And several times more after that .
Tramadol - the worse painkiller ever . So much for feeling a lil giddy and it wearing of very fast . Yeah , relatively fast if you compare it to my 2 years in KTJ !!! It took me 2 days for the ehadaches and giddiness to finally be over !!!
What's surprising about my Economics Cambridge Interview ? My interviewer asked me to plot him a y = 1 / sin x graph . And the rest is history .
More stories later . I just gotta spill some first .
Lani - I'll find the entry for you . By the shoes , you meant the pink sandals with Svarowski crystals embedded on them right ? =)

Yay.. Raya's coming .
In 2 weeks time , that is .
Sounds so near huh ? Yet there's many obstacles to overcome before the next break !!!
First , there's the Cambridge Interview . Its this Thursday .
Then , there's the Accounting resit paper . Next Friday . The two most big events of the term ( or should I say for the year ) awaits me before I kiss KTJ goodbye for my Raya Break .
And oh goD i'M SO HUNGRY .

I'm not making a generalisation here , so open your eyes wide .
The problem with some drivers are , that their cars are really big yet they iq is way smaller than their waistline .
There was once these aneroxic ( i'm not making this up ) Chinese girl driving a BMW making a U-Turn exactly where above it , was a NO U-Turn sign . She must be either blind or stupid . Or both .
Then there was this man who was nicely putting his elbow on the top of his car talking to his spouse with the engine running , when I was somewhere not far waiting for that damn parking spot with my signal on . And he talked for quite a deal of time . Stupid , dumb , deaf or blind , you decide .
There was one fat woman who unloaded her groceries into her car . ( This happened earlier 2day ) Then she gracefully catwalked to return her trolley . While her husband , waiting in the car . After almost a few eternities , she returned , still walking very slow to her car . I dunno if her 20-40-60 figure was the reason she was walking freakin' slow , too much momentum , I guess . On purpose or force of nature , you decide .
Another two aneroxic Chinese girls sped past me and a few other passer-bys in a freakin' parking lot . What was their problem ? Speeding in parking lots . Ignorant or uneducated , you decide .
A few men stared at me while I was driving . Stared . Clearly , it's not my fault that when their heads turned back to the front , they bumped into another car . Well almost . Then you hear tyres screeching and emergency brakes . Or when their girlfriends give them painful pinches on their arms . Pretty Hillarious , actually . Or not ? You decide .

I know almost everytime I come and blog , I whine or rave about the same thing over and over again . One time I'm like a pessimist , one time I sound so shallow like my life actually revolves around all my miseries . LoL =P . How dramatic . Yeap , that's my middle name . Misz-Dramatic-Amnie... Hehe =p
But I can't help it . My mid term break is coming to an end now - how unfair !!! And it's time to go back ? Grrr... Yet it hasn't really been a holiday for me . My days were joyously filled with mountain-high laundry and long lists of bills to pay . That would mean the endless queues at the post office - which apparently has a very convenient system - 4 counters were built but out of 3 times I went , only 2 successful counters were open . Guess its our kinda thing . Remember that you'll never find all the toll booths open ? Exactly .
Also , my cats ( Tweedledoo and Tweedledee Peepers ) are so stinky !!! Although the back door is locked , somehow the smell just make their way through the whole house . And it takes hours to dissipate . Just becos they're cute , they think they can do anything they want . A house cat's life is so fun . Sleep , play , eat , defecate . Sleep , play , eat and defecate . And ocassionally make noise when your owner gets a lil late feeding you . Or just get cheeky for no reason at all . Other than that , without any interuptions in the cycle , the same life cycle goes on .
I'm so lost in LOST now . Yeah - I bought the whole season 1 on DVD just cause I wanted to know what happened on season finale . But I have two other really satisfying reason , Boone and Sawyer . Really , eye candies just make my day . Not literally , if you know what I mean . Sawyer is the typical bad boy I would always fall for . Over and over again . Haha - but he's blonde . Boone's cute but he's in love with his sister - The Unforbidden Love . So not kool . And he dies in episode 25 , anyway . It's ok , I'm still loving you !! =p
I'm actually almost screwed . My stuffs I brought back from KTJ is everywhere , ( I mean everywhere ) I even havta sleep im my mom's room cos my bed is so full of stuffs . Clothes , of course . And guess what ? I gotta start packing already ! But whatever it is , in 2 weeks time , it's the break that I look forward too . The Diwali and Hari Raya break . Gotta be brave and strong till then . Haha =p
Urm....I wanna go watch LOST again . C ya !!!

Girls ,
Avoid showering in hot water . It makes your skin sag , therefore it makes your boobs sag . God , we're not even 20 , so pls don't let this happen 2u !!!
Of course , you might say it's not true , but hey , it's your choice .
And obviously when showering at nite you use hot water instead of cold , becos it only makes sense that way . Also becos when nighttime its cold , so cold water is bad for the bones . And hot bubble baths are also an exception becos I know , it's like a theraphy to some .
But apart from that , avoid it at all costs !! ( with the exceptions above , obviously )

Hey bitchy girl . I happen to be living on the same planet as you are , and newsflash - I live in KL too ! I hate the fact that there's too many cliffhangers . Of cos I look forward 2d next season . I LOVE Desperate Housewives and they rock !!! Didn't remember condeming the show ... Read between the lines . Btw , FYI , Desperate Housewives Season 2 is coming out in 3 weeks time . AND , You're welcome .
TC - I'm not desperate . It's just a rant . But u gotta admit its true . Hahaha . Suddenly feeling all protective for your species eh ? Lol =p

Shopping rox !!! It's such a therapy for me !!!! It cures my stress , PMS , headaches , moodswings and lots more . Aaahh... I never felt so relieved before . Feels like I'm on top of the world ! Maybe I'll go shopping tomorrow again . By that , I don't mean window shopping .
Shopping ( apart from buying shoes ) is the ULTIMATE THERAPHY for me .
Call me a bimbo or an airhead , I don't care . You're not that all full of brains anyway .

Yay - I'm back home for a week finally . Hmm... lotsa things to do in my To-Do List ! Since the list is so bloody long , it makes my 1 week break so short . But , I'm just so glad that I'm back home . Free from any KTJ .
Can't wait 2 go shopping !! I know I should be preparing for my exams but hey , it's been a long time since i last went shopping - the last time 2 weeks ago . That was SO long ago .
Btw , Faiz , you can still call me , you know .
Just now Ridz called me from Illinois and we talked for 34 minutes . Hehe =p . Hey Faiz go use your student idd caller card or something . But I'll give ya a call sometime , I promise ( after my exams maybe ? hehe =p ) In case I haven't said it yet , I really do miss you , ok Ridz ? I miss every single friend of mine who has left Malaysia . Well , there's always the summer break , you'll all come back . I know you all can't survive without the "pedas" food over there . Muahahaha
And I hate you so much Fatin . I know chocolates in the UK is cheap - especially the local made ones ! Wah !!!! This is so unfair . Here I am paying at least RM2.20 for a decent bar of chocolate , and there you are only paying 20p per bar ? What the hell ? Even after converting the currencies , it's still cheaper . It's ok . I'm going there next year - hopefully . Soon , Fatin , soon .

We made it through audition . But , we didn't win cos there were only 2 places 2 grab , 4 the love of god !!
But anyway , apart from the fact that a small pick got stuck in Akmal's guitar , I'd say our performance rocked !!! I never had so much fun performing on stage .
Mark said I was so "maintain" while performing . He said I have I "I'm-too-good-for-this" look . Hey , I wanted to create the cool look , not the poser's !!! But anyway , he's such an idiot , he went and put my nice black bag in the pantry's fridge !!! He's thinking like an 8 year old right - I know !!!! But anyway , we're not here to talk about that spastic retard .
I feel that something's missing amidst all this . Yes , now that Talentime has ended , we don't have jamming sessions anymore , and I want those good old days back - where we I sacrificed our free period ( which I always use 2 catch up ony my sleep ! ) And the best part about jamming is , it makes me forget about every other thing and just focus on our music . It's true when they say music is such a beautiful thing . It is . It bridges gap , bringing people closer together despite our differences . Now , I feel like something is missing . But it's really time to focus on my upcoming exams . Which happens to be less than a month .
Oh , btw the keyboard here sux !! I've got so many typo errors I don't have time to correct . But I'm sure you all know what I;m trying to say .

Sure when foreigners say that they love Malaysians cos they're friendly and helpful and caring , surely they can't be that shallow .
There are countless reasons why sometimes I'm not proud to be Malaysian . But for the moment , here's a few .
Reason 1 - The leaders of Malaysia
Budget 2006's reading was on Friday . I only managed to watch from 5.10 - 5.45 pm . ( I caught up on the rest with the newspaper )
During the reading of the budget by our Prime Minister , what do the rest of our ministers do ?
They SLEEP !!!!
Yes , they sleep . On national tv they sleep . If they're not sleeping , they're busy gossiping , or telling stories I should say . And they had to make it obvious . When the camera was rolling , I could see some sides were turned to face their friend on the other side . Goodness . There was also one woman who pretended to yawn to show her god knows how many carat diamond ring on national tv .
And the best part is , when the budget was about transportation and all , our Minister of Transportation was sleeping soundly !!! And as if they all knew it was time to wake up because it has ended , everyone woke up at once !!! The women were busy fixing make up and their scarfs / tudungs . And the men , pretending to sort out their files . Shame on you , Ministers of Malaysia !!! The least you could do is show some respect . Or at least cover up while ur sleeping . Don't just fall asleep with your mouth open . Sigh...
Us economic students were begging out teachers to go out of class to watch the Budget ( which we were not allowed to , obviously ) and our ministers sleep . On national tv .
Reason 2 - Self-proclaimed VIP
People who think they're VIP are actually right . They're Very Idiotic People .
Malaysian enjoy arriving at a certain event fashionably late . The bigger the event , the more self proclaimed VIP the person is , the later he arrives .
Do you know what hapopens when the Parliament resides ? Yes , the real Parliament . You're in for a surprise .
Meeting was set for 9am . But what time do they arrive ? 10.30am . And naturally when they arrive late , they talk about their children's tuition , they new car , etc . And their phones are on "listen-to-my-funky-ringtone" mode . And the best part was - nobody seemed to care .
Funny how when you really scrutinise our system , there are so many flaws . An by that , you know what I mean .
Reason 3 - Selfish Citizens
What is up with Malaysians when it comes to giving up their parking spaces ? They take forever to put their bloody keys in the ignition , then start the engine , then drive out of the parking spot . Sometimes after putting stuffs in the car boot , they can afford to talk to their bloody spouses about whatever it is .
Damn it , save the talk for your car journey later on !!! Bloody selfish huh ? Tell me about it .
Here's the Malaysian mentality - You want my parking spot ? You wait for me
The Westerner's mentality - You want my parking spot ? Sure buddy , hold on , I'll reverse out asap .
Reasons 4 - Bloody Smokers
Taxes on cigarretes was raised 13 % whilst liqour , 9% . Some fags still won't quit . But whatever it is , it's still their problem .
It's either they're stupid or blind or highly likely both , they have to smoke in shopping malls - my only sanctuary . How big does the "No-Smoking" sign has to be for you to notice it ?
When when you want to bloody let out the smoke from your filthy nicotine n tar filled mouth , don't blow it to some other non-smokers face !!! It's very rude and immoral ! Talk about manners !! ( It hasn't happened to me of course , or I would have bitch-slapped that smoker )
Sometimes these things piss me off big time . But what the hell , if they play it rough , we can all play it rough too .
Reason 5 - Typical Mentality
Malaysian Mentality : If you want to be successful and rich in life , you either become a doctor , a lawyer or an engineer .
Wrong . So wrong . To be successful , I do what I want .
I wanted to do Law , but since I got my Petronas Scholarship , I'll have to put that off for a while .
After my SPM , when everyone asked me what I wanted to do , I said LAW . They either give me a nice smile , or say - honey , there's no future in Malaysia . You were so bright , you should have done medicine .
And now , I'm going to do Economics and Politics . That's what I tell people when they ask me . Then , they just give me a smile .
So you think only doctors , engineers and lawyers are the ones who's only gonna make it ? The stereotypes ? Wrong . SO WRONG . You think students doing humanities can't go far ? Only people who can't get into sciences do arts and humanities ? Wrong . Let me finish my degree 1st , then let me prove you wrong . With all due respect , it doesn't mean that you're much much older then me with lotsa experiences to share , you're always right .
Believe me , I did pure sciences back then in secondary school , and now doing humanities , I think I prefer humanities . I love Economics . ( I don't really like Accounting though )

Where Have They All Gone ? Exactly .
Where have all the good guys gone ?
By good , I mean a keeper that one that I can keep . The good ones are either taken or have no taste when it comes to dating .
Damn , I wish it was raining men .
Or it's probably just me - obviously staying in KTJ doesn't give me much chance to meet anyone new .
But then again , I'm not looking for one right now . Not even close . I just wanna have fun !!!
Then again everywhere I go , I see Beauty and The Beasts .

By that , I mean hot guys with their not so fortunate looking girlfriends . I'm sorry , but its true .
It gets worse on Saturdays . Saturday is basically THE dating day . When I go shopping in the malls , I see couples dating everywhere . And of course , Beauty and The Beasts . What's worse is their boyfriends always steal glances to look at me . Sometimes they stare . From top to bottom . And its not like I wore revealing clothes , just a simple top and jeans , mostly . Unfaithful perverts ! It's not like I'm a superstar or Paris Hilton or something . Then, their girlfriends give me bitchy stares . Excuse me , but what have I done ? Lol =p .
You gotta learn how to keep your man , girl ! But that's me putting it mildly . Got a mirror ? Good . Look into it . Or next time , try putting on less makeup and more confidence . Cause it's my best accessory . And I need nothing else ( well maybe some lip gloss an mascara , but that's all ! ) . When you're confident , it shows .
Remember , the most beautiful people aren't necessarily attractive ; but they're all confident .
Good guys are hard to find nowadays . That goes equally to bad guys too . Everyone fall for bad guys - at least once in their whole life . I'm so attracted to bad guys . But they're not the REAL KEEPERS .
But what on earth is happening ? Bad guys are turning good , and the good guys are showering their faith to undeserving ones . Those that cheat behind their backs , and without them noticing . Just cos he's too enamoured of her .
Silliness .
Don't get me started on eye candies . They have basically banished from Malaysia . Gone . Just like that . Or , married . Or taken . Or gay *Sniff Sniff*
But the one that's most painful to address is hot and goodlooking faithful guys devoting themselves to the wrong girls . They're steady but their girls still date other men . Their girls still treat them like dirt . Their girls only use them for financial purposes . Still they think their girlfriends are goddess sent from heaven for them !
Hello !!! Wake up . Ok , so "Love is blind" . But you're blind and deaf and dumb . What's worse is you choose to be that way .
And then when you guys breakup with your girls , you get so hurt that some even get suicidal . What's the big idea ? If she can't appreciate you , she's missing out on a big thing . She's blind then . But you're still the stupid one in the first place . Then you go on complaining to your female friends how good the two of you were together . How it was your mistake and you want her back so badly . And then ask what you should do to win her back .
You gotta let it go . If it comes back , then its yours . But if it slips away through your fingers like water , then no matter how hard you cling on to it , it's never going to be yours . So face it .
Gets unfair sometimes , doesn't it ?
That's L I F E !!!
And remember , history doesn't conclude ; it just PAUSES .
Those who don't know history are condemned to repeat it ? No - you're just finishing another part of your dramatic life . Not repeating history .
